6 Month Anniversary

6 Month Anniversary

It’s our 6 month Anniversary!!

Well, it’s Sigma Wealth Management’s 6mth anniversary and boy has the time gone by in a flash!

In what will be looked on as the introduction to “our story” there have been many characters, plot twists, fascinating locations, comedy and a tiny bit of drama.

The main characters supporting us along the way have, of course, been our clients. Change is not necessarily positive for most people but our clients, many of whom we call friends, have adjusted to the change majestically. Along with our clients, our team has had to manage and navigate many changes over the last 6 months and they have also done a sterling job.

Plot twists have abounded over the last 6 months making it a memorable experience indeed. When we consider the changes to the political landscape, the legislative landscape, and investment landscape there is never a dull day.

Whilst Hawthorn is a wonderful location for the central characters of our story, some of us (me) have been lucky enough to enjoy more far flung destinations: the wild west (Perth and Margaret River); the Emerald City (Sydney), and the exotic East (Hong Kong). The common themes running through these sets has been opportunity, client first, impact of behavior (client and adviser); and professionalism.

Comedy has been a daily occurrence in our office – in a good way. Not so much slapstick or laughs at others’ expense (although I seem to generate much of the mirth in ways which escape me) but general good humour. Not taking ourselves too seriously and helping our clients become more comfortable in what can be nervous and uncertain times has been a gift.

I admit it, I was being somewhat dramatic when I mentioned Drama but there have been times when it’s not all unicorns and rainbows. This is when we’ve pulled together, identified the issue, sorted it out and moved on. Admittedly there might have been a curse word or two and the occasional tense face but we generally got over it quickly.

So if the last 6 months was merely the Intro, what will be in the Chapters that follow? Watch this space…
